Let us start with one of my all time favorite balloon events by The Turnadaisy Art Dept...
Oh Yes! 800 balloon awesomeness ♥When Google said they were looking for a cool city to test their new Google Fiber and Grand Rapids was in the running...people got together on Calder Plaza to show Google what we love about our city!!!
The Art Dept. created and unfurled an 800 balloon, over half mile long "Google Balloon Fiber" The great folks at DVS Creative made this very cool video...check it out! Oh and before you press play, take a look at the picture, you can see the balloon fiber coming out of the back of the Ryder truck and winding out all over the place ♥ Yes we picked up every tiny scrap to recycle them!

| Marco Riolo (A favorite local artist) turns the lead of the Google Fiber Balloon into a balloon tornado on Calder Plaza Grand Rapids, Mi Sadly I did not get a picture of it but Mayor Heartwell grabbed the very last balloon out of the trailer and danced around...it was a total riot!!
